Eight sculptures designed and made for the VIP lounge bar at Shell EPiCentre, Rijswijk, The Netherlands, completed May 2003.

The sculptures created for this space are based on naturally occurring forms, inspired by shifting sands. They are intended to reflect the company's and its employees' interest in the geological world. They are an expression and reflection of the ever changing and evolving environment that the company and its employees operate in. As a constant reminder of the beauty of natural forms, they are intended to provide stimulus and inspiration. The sculptures will subtly change to reveal new aspects when light sources shift by the passage of the sun, shadows and internal lighting.
